Blog issues

I have been informed by Phil that my blog's start up splash screen is not working and making it difficult to view this blog, I'm not 100% about the problem but what I do know is I use google chrome and it runs properly there. However on Internet Explorer and Firefox a black screen comes up and does not go away, if you get this problem try clicking on the screen and it should fade away. I think the problem is that a bit of code doesn't work properly on some browsers, I'm not sure why but when I first made it it did work but that's no longer the case. I'll try and fix it up anyway :)

Term 2 Week 1

Today we made a panorama photo in Photoshop by merging five photos into one. To do this we extended our original photo to five times the width so we could fit in the other photos. We then brought each photo in one at a time and put the layer opacity of each photo down to 50% so we could see the photos overlapping. After aligning them enough we used layer masks to help clean the images up and make it look real. This is the outcome

5 me's

Today we did some image manipulation in Photoshop, we used some of Dave's cool cameras and took different photos of ourselves from the same spot with the help of a tripod and then brought them into Photoshop so it looks like there numerous me's in the one photo. To do this we used the "Pen tool" to cut ourselves out of one photo and bring that image into another image making more then one person appear on the one photo, then we help make the picture fit in a bit more using the "Smudge tool" and "Burn tool". But personally I like to just take one image across with the "Rectangle Marquee tool" and then use the "History brush" to blend it into the image.

Digital Pitch

After looking at the design of my pitch on both computer and drawn I've come up with a few things I think need to be changed
- Less white space, I think the blank parts make it boring so I'm thinking about a background colour
- I need to demonstrate the old and new packaging in more detail
- I also think more text and content will help fill the page up more and make it more effective as well as pleasing to look at.
My control group is Phil, Laura and Robert.
