Starting on the 28th of the 2nd 2011 is Pepsi's latest "gimmick" where you can enter a competition to win either cash ($50,00) or a car (Holden HSV V8)
Pro's
- This offers the consumer of Pepsi a chance in winning an expensive prize just by spending a few dollars
- Also offers a side competition of a $1,000 giveaway each day for three months
- People enjoy entering competitions
Con's
- People who enter the competition are very unlikely to actually win
- Entering is time consuming and will most likely lead to you spending more money (texting, mail etc)
- It probably made you buy the product even though you didn't plan to
